Gamers-Crib is a non-commercial gaming community. We keep this website as simple and privacy-friendly as possible.
What this website collects
This website has no contact forms, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to Google Fonts.
Joining with Steam
To join Gamers-Crib you sign in with Steam. You enter your password on Steam's own website; we never see it. Steam only confirms your public Steam ID to us.
We store your Steam ID, your public Steam name and avatar, and when you first and last signed in. We use this only to manage our community (for example to keep banned members out). We don't share it with anyone and don't use it for advertising.
Want your data removed? Ask an admin on Discord and we'll delete it.
After signing in you are sent to our Discord server. Steam's privacy policy applies to the login itself.
Discord
The live “online” counter and member list are loaded from Discord's public server widget. Your browser contacts discord.com to fetch that number, plus the display names, avatars and games of members who are online and visible. Members who set their Discord status to “Invisible” are not shown. When you join our Discord server, Discord's own privacy policy applies.
Donations
Donations are handled by Ko-fi and PayPal. We receive your name (or the name you choose to show), your message if you leave one, and the amount. We never see your card or bank details.
Videos and live stream
Our archive shows preview images that are loaded from YouTube's image servers. The video player is only loaded after you click play. From that moment YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) or Twitch may set cookies, under their own privacy policies.
Hosting
Like any website, our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and running.
